Decide who will load at both addresses
Choose customer loading and unloading if you will provide the people needed. Otherwise, the booking form offers one, two or three helpers, subject to availability. Choose enough help for the heaviest items and the carrying route; include stairs, lift access and the distance between the vehicle and each door.
Measure bulky pieces and check doorways, stair turns and lifts. Tell us about unusually heavy or awkward items before booking. If you are unsure about vehicle size or loading help, ask our team before finalising your move.
How your man and van price is calculated
We calculate your move price from the journey, booked time, van size, loading help, access and any extra stops. Allow time for loading and unloading at both addresses, including stairs, lifts and longer carrying distances.
Extra time and other charges
If the move takes longer than booked, extra time is charged at the half-hourly rate shown during booking and on your receipt. Applicable parking, congestion or clean-air charges, tolls and ferry fares are separate from the booked price.
A change to the load, addresses, access, vehicle or help required can affect the price. If you request passenger travel, review any passenger charge displayed during booking.

Include the floor at each address, stairs, lift availability, parking restrictions and the carrying distance between the van and the door. Tell us about narrow entrances, access codes or building time limits. Accurate details help the move to be planned and priced; restricted access or extra carrying work can affect the time and charges.
You are responsible for packing unless another arrangement has been agreed in writing. Have items ready to move, identify fragile or awkward pieces and clear the carrying route. Describe anything that may need special handling before booking; do not assume dismantling or packing is included.
This depends on the loading option you book. With customer loading and unloading, you provide the people needed at both addresses and the driver’s loading help is not included. If you book helpers, select enough people for the size and weight of the items and the access route. Tell us about heavy or awkward pieces before confirming the booking.
Request passenger travel during booking and confirm that suitable cab seating is available for your move. Review any passenger charge displayed in the booking form and the passenger terms on your receipt. Do not rely on a passenger space until the arrangement is confirmed.
