Planning your move in Foleshill
A man with a van in Foleshill can help with a room move, furniture collection or the contents of a small flat. Start with the collection entrance rather than just the postcode: a home above a shop may have a separate door, while a rear entrance may be reached from a different street. Give the driver the entrance you have agreed with the occupant and list everything being collected there.
If the planned loading point is a controlled bay, check Coventry Council's parking-bay suspension guidance. It asks for the bay type, location and length, as well as vehicle details and the period required. Do not assume that booking transport reserves the kerb outside the property. Contact support if an application needs the allocated van registration.
For a collection and delivery within Foleshill, the time spent carrying furniture can matter more than the short road journey. Measure the largest item through the shop-side or communal entrance, tell us about stairs and choose the loading help for that route. Keep the seller or key holder available until collection is complete.

Property access
Check stairs, lifts, shared entrances and space for bulky items.
A flat above a Foleshill shop needs its own access description. Include the doorway width, floor number and stair turns; a shop frontage is not evidence that furniture can pass through the shop. Check with the occupant which entrance is available and whether doors must remain secured between trips.

Foleshill Frequently Asked Questions
Plan the load, access and help needed at both addresses before booking.
Check availability for your collection and delivery postcodes, date, van size and loading requirements. Short-notice bookings depend on the actual job and available providers. An area availability guide is not a reserved slot; discuss any fixed collection or building-access window before booking.
Your quote reflects the addresses, date, van size, loading help and booked time. Include stairs, lift access, carrying distances and any extra stops at the start. A short journey can still require time for loading and unloading. Read what is included and possible additional charges before confirming.
Check the loading option selected during booking. With customer loading and unloading, you provide the people needed at both ends and the driver’s loading help is not included. If you book helpers, choose enough help for the heaviest items, stairs and carrying route. Ask our team if you are unsure about an awkward item.
List the items, measure bulky furniture and confirm access at both addresses. Pack belongings, secure loose parts and arrange the loading location. Packing is your responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing; do not assume dismantling or reassembly is included. For a purchase collection, confirm the seller will be available and the item ready to load.
Match the service to the complete load. See single-item transport for one bulky purchase or small moves for boxes and a few pieces of furniture. For a full flat inventory, review flat removals and plan the vehicle and help around all your belongings.
You book through Find My Man and Van. After booking, we allocate a suitable vetted provider based on the move details and availability.
