A mileage figure alone cannot tell you the price. Your quote reflects the load, vehicle, selected loading help, booked time, route and access.
When comparing removal quotes, use the same inventory and requirements at both addresses.

Additional time and route charges
Extra time is charged at the half-hourly rate shown during booking and on your receipt. Applicable parking, congestion or clean-air charges, tolls and ferry fares are separate. Changes to your move details may affect the quote.

Get collection and delivery ready

List every item and planned stop. Pack and label your belongings unless different arrangements have been agreed in writing.
- Arrange access at both ends
Confirm keys, loading permissions and a contact at each property. Check lift dimensions and reservations where needed.
- Discuss timing restrictions
Tell us about fixed building windows or uncertain key handover before booking. Arrival times are estimates; plan your own travel separately.

What to check before arranging a move between cities.
Your quote depends on the declared load, vehicle capacity, selected loading help, booked time, addresses and moving date. Include access and every planned stop. Distance alone is not enough to price the move. Review the additional-time rate and any separate parking or route charges before booking. See how pricing works.

You can arrange transport for household furniture, packed belongings or office furniture and equipment within the selected vehicle capacity and service. Provide a complete inventory and describe heavy, fragile or unusual items before booking. Do not rely on bedroom count or office size alone to establish capacity.
It depends on the loading option you select. With customer loading and unloading, you provide the people needed at both ends; driver loading help is not included. If you book helpers, select enough help for the items and access at collection and delivery. Check the selected services in your quote.
Arrival times are estimates. Traffic, weather and operational factors can affect the journey. Discuss key handover, loading-bay reservations and restricted building hours before booking. Do not assume guaranteed same-day delivery or a fixed arrival slot. See the arrival-time terms.
Packing and furniture dismantling can be booked at the primary pickup; assembly or reassembly is a separate extra at the primary drop-off. These services depend on eligible provider availability and are not included automatically with loading help.
Supply boxes and packing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing. Drivers bring standard tools; describe the furniture, provide instructions and agree any specialist tools before moving day. Each extra is booked in 30-minute blocks of elapsed team time at your booking rate, separately from loading and unloading. Unpacking, separate-day packing and work at extra stops are not included. Storage is not included. For offices, arrange IT disconnection and setup separately.
