Allow for the Bruntsfield stair route
Before selecting a Bruntsfield flat collection, identify the floor, the tightest stair turn and any furniture needing dismantling. Agree preparation before the booked arrival.
A short journey does not mean the loading stage is short, and an early slot is not automatically better. Match the carrying requirements to the time the destination can actually receive the load.
Put the fixed appointments in order
- Confirm when the load will be ready, including any furniture preparation.
- Record the collection access window and the latest agreed property handover.
- Confirm receiving keys, building appointments and any extra stop before choosing transport.
A preferred time is not a confirmed appointment. Tell support about any uncertain key release or restricted access window before booking.
Check the local arrangements
For the Bruntsfield address, use Bruntsfield parking reference as a starting point for the current street requirements. Confirm that the guidance covers the actual location and proposed use; it does not grant private-building access.
