Read evidence behind reviews
Look for recent accounts describing moves similar to yours: a flat with stairs, a larger household or a journey between cities. Read the circumstances and responses as well as the score. Reviews describe past experiences, not guaranteed results for another booking.

Booking through FMMV or arranging a company yourself
These are different ways of organising a move, not proof that one always gives better service. When arranging a company yourself, establish who confirms the work, handles payment, answers changes and responds if a problem arises. Check those arrangements with the company.

Ask what cover applies to the actual booking and read its limits, excesses, exclusions, packing conditions and claim procedure. Do not treat a cover label as a promise that every loss or item is covered. Check the terms and conditions and ask our team about unclear or unusual requirements.

Use local details to evaluate the move
A London removal may need a reserved lift or loading window at an apartment building. For a Birmingham removal, describe the bay entrance or driveway and any steps. For a Manchester removal, measure stair turns in a terrace and confirm unloading access at the destination. These are checks for your address, not assumptions about every property in the city.
Where a city page shows modelled prices, check its calculation date and stated load, distance, booked time and team. An example is not a universal city price or your booking offer.
