We arrive at the mattress supplier, "Cambridge Man and Van, it's over there," the manager points to the corner of the shop, "good luck."
We look over and our eyes are met by a 6 foot mattress, about 2 feet thick. The mattress is grabbed by both hands and lifted (heavy is an understatement, the weight can be measured in tonnes not pounds!). The never-say-die attitude of the Cambridge Man and Van service takes over, the mattress is in the van in a blink.
A quick drive and the destination arrived at. Luckily the bed is on the ground floor, smiles all round.
