It is quite amazing just how heavy a box of floor tiles are. A seemingly small cardboard box, when lifted, seems to be made of solid steel. The few boxes of tiles ended up being a pallet load of tiles. To say that the waist-lines of the Man and Van Bedford staff were shortened by the copious amount of sweat would not be an exaggeration. The portly driver was turned into a size zero model by the effort in moving these tiles. As always man and Van Bedford rose (and then fell over) to the occasion.
