Moving home allowed as curbs lift on estate agents in England
Estate agents can now open, viewings can be carried out and removal firms and conveyancers can restart operations.
Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick said the changes must be carried out under social distancing and safety rules.

Find My Man and Van Bookings

At Find My Man and Van our priority is the well-being of both our customers and our drivers. Following the governments announcement on 12/05/2020 we are taking on board their guidance and operating with the following changes to our booking procedures:

  • Practice social distancing during the work
  • Customers will not be able to ride in the van due to social distancing restrictions.
  • Where possible have items packed and ready in a place that drivers can access without close contact.
  • Driver availability may be reduced during this period due to illness or self-isolation, please see cancellations below.
  • If you are ill or in isolation it will be necessary to cancel or reschedule the move, please see cancellations below.
  • Our standard terms and conditions still apply if not superseded by the above.

Cancellations during the Coronavirus Restriction Period

Driver Availability

Please be aware that there is an increased risk of drivers being unable to fulfill a booking due to either illness or the need for self-isolation. Due to the exceptional nature of the current situation this can potentially happen on the day of the booking. Should this occur we will endeavour to find a replacement or, failing the finding of such, we will refund the Initial Payment paid in full.

Please allow for the above considerations when planning your move.

Customer Illness/Isolation

If you need to cancel a booking due to illness or self-isolation up to 2 full days before the work is due to commence your Initial Payment will be refunded in full. If you need to cancel or rearrange your booking less than 2 full days before the work is scheduled we will be happy to rearrange or put the work on hold until such time as you are available.
